The Perry County Central Commodores smashed the visiting Pikeville Panthers soccer team by a tally of 5-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Commodores now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Letcher County Central for a District 53 bout on Thursday, August 28. Perry County Central will play a Cougars squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Pikeville moves to 0-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a District 57 bout on Monday, August 25. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
