The Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH) soccer nipped the visiting Streetsboro Rockets (Streetsboro, OH), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Rough Riders now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Revere for a Suburban - American challenge on Wednesday, August 27. Roosevelt will face a Minutemen team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-2.
The Rockets (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Akron, OH). The Spartans enter the Metro Athletic contest with a 0-0 record.
