The Concord Minutemen soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Homestead Spartans to 0 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Saturday.
The Minutemen now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Elkhart for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Concord will play a Lions squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Goshen (Goshen, IN). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Homestead moves to 1-1 on the year. The Spartans host Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
