With the victory, Las Vegas moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV) to face the Longhorns in a test on Wednesday, September 10. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 2-0.

The Trailblazers now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palo Verde for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Durango will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
