In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lucy Beckham Bengals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Palmetto Christian Academy .

The Bengals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Iron Horses enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Philip Simmons was tipped by Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
