Georgia High School Volleyball - Lumpkin County tips Monroe Area

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Lumpkin County Indians volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes.
With the win, Lumpkin County improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA) to face the Falcons in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Purple Hurricanes now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee Bluff for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Monroe Area will play a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
