Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Poway Titans (Poway, CA) and the visiting Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA), observed Poway's volleyball team hold off Maranatha Christian by a count of 2-1.

The Titans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.

The Eagles now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy of Our Lady of Peace for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23.
