The Summit Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting T.C. Roberson Rams to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a outing on Tuesday, August 26. Summit will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
