With the triumph, Barren County advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Trojans host Hart County (Munfordville, KY) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Hart County won 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Clinton County (Albany, KY)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 26. Nelson County will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
