In Saturday's non-league battle, the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) soccer squad crushed the host Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), by a count of 4-0.
The Highlanders (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds enter the Mountain State battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Parkersburg tipped South Charleston (South Charleston, WV), 2-0, in a league battle.
