New Mexico High School Soccer - St. Pius X knocks off Cibola

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host St. Pius X Sartans soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the Cibola Cougars.
The Sartans (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Sandia Prep was overwhelmed by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 6-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league outing, on Monday, August 25. Cibola will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM).
