The Concord Minutemen soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Homestead Spartans to 0 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Saturday.
The Minutemen now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Westview for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. Concord will face a Warriors team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Goshen (Goshen, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cadets come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran by Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN), 2-0, in a non-league game.
