Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), 6-1 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record.

Next up, the Whirlies play the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 27. Grimsley will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
