North Carolina High School Soccer - Hoke County nudges Southwest Guilford

August 23, 2025: High Point, NC 27265

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Hoke County Bucks soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Southwest Guilford Cowboys.

The Bucks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, South View was tipped by Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 7-1, in a non-league test.

The Cowboys now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to High Point Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Southwest Guilford will clash with a Bison team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Bison record now stands at 0-2.
