Ohio High School Soccer - Springfield nudged by Manchester

The Manchester Panthers held off the host Springfield Spartans soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next, the Panthers face the Tuslaw Mustangs (Massillon, OH) in a Principals Athletic game, on Monday, August 25. Manchester will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH).

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH). The Rockets go into the Metro Athletic bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Streetsboro got by Crestwood (Mantua, OH), 5-3, in a non-league bout.
