The University Hawks soccer squad (Morgantown, WV), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league match with the host Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV)
With the triumph, Musselman moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Applemen travel to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV) to meet the Bulldogs in a Eastern Panhandle match on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 1-2. Martinsburg won 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)
The Hawks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Linsly School for a match on Thursday, August 28. University will meet a Cadets team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Steubenville (Steubenville, OH). The Cadets record now stands at 0-2.
