Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) and the host Tulpehocken Trojans (Bernville, PA), saw Notre Dame-Green Pond's soccer squad hold off Tulpehocken by a count of 3-2.

The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA). The Lions come into the Colonial match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Moravian Academy was tipped by New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA), 3-1, in a non-league match.

The Trojans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reading for a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. Tulpehocken will battle a Red KNights squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Hempfield (Landisville, PA). The Red KNights record now stands at 0-1.
