In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Washington Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Sturgis Brown Scoopers.
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, O'Gorman got by Brookings (Brookings, SD), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Scoopers clash with the Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 26. Sturgis Brown will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Broncs come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Groton (Groton, SD).
