In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Wayland Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Vicksburg Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI). The Dux go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Zeeland West was edged by Holland Christian (Holland, MI), 4-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. Vicksburg will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Saxons come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-2 non-league Fremont (Fremont, MI).
