Colorado High School Softball - Valley drops to Alamosa

August 23, 2025: Gilcrest, CO 80623

The Valley Vikings softball squad (Gilcrest, CO), was routed 14-4 in Saturday's non-league match with the visiting Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO)

The Mean Moose (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Pueblo Centennial gained a win over George Washington (Denver, CO), 12-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 29. Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Devils enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Mountain View (Loveland, CO).
