The Ponca Indians softball squad (Ponca, NE), was routed 12-5 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Arlington Eagles (Arlington, NE)

With the triumph, Arlington improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE) to face the in a C District contest on Tuesday, August 26. The go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder lost 15-3 in their recent non-league bout against Standing Bear (Lincoln, NE)

In their next game, the Indians battle the O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 28. Ponca will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
