Georgia High School Softball - Marion County bounces Baconton Charter

The Marion County Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Baconton Charter Blazers to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pataula Charter Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 25. Marion County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Early County (Blakely, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
The Blazers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Valwood (Valdosta, GA). The Valiants go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Valwood was routed by Southland Academy (Americus, GA), 10-4, in a non-league outing.
