Colorado High School Softball - Grand Junction Discovery Canyon

The Grand Junction Tigers softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Discovery Canyon Thunder to 9 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.

The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grandview for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Grand Junction will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 1-1.

The Thunder (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Grand Junction Central was routed by Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO), 6-2, in a non-league battle.
