Nebraska High School Softball - Duchesne/Roncalli Seward

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Duchesne/Roncalli (Omaha, NE) and the host Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE), observed Duchesne/Roncalli's softball team get by Seward by a tally of 7-4.

The (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Burke (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Burke was routed by Columbus (Columbus, NE), 19-0, in a league contest.

The Bluejays now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to York for a B District 7 contest on Tuesday, August 26. Seward will face a Dukes squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE). The Dukes record now stands at 4-1.
