The Elkhorn South Storm softball squad (Omaha, NE), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE)

With the triumph, Gretna improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Dragons host Bennington (Bennington, NE) to play the Badgers in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. The Badgers enter the game with a record of 5-0. Bennington won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE)

The Storm now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Papillion-LaVista for a A District battle on Tuesday, August 26. Elkhorn South will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Monarchs record now stands at 4-1.
