The Enid Plainsmen overwhelmed the visiting Newkirk Tigers softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Plainsmen meet the Perkins-Tryon Demons (Perkins, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Enid will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Demons go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Stroud (Stroud, OK).
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Frontier (Red Rock, OK). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Frontier achieved victory over Shidler (Shidler, OK), 13-1, in a league outing.
