The Oologah Mustangs softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Haskell Haymakers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Mannford Pirates (Mannford, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Oologah will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, OK).
The Haymakers (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fairland (Fairland, OK). The Owls come into the 2A battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Fairland was tipped by Preston (Preston, OK), 6-1, in a league battle.
