With the triumph, Sperry improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Pirates host Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Okmulgee lost 17-0 in their recent non-league bout against Dewar (Dewar, OK)

In their next game, the Wolves battle the Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 23. Heavener will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 5-6 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Sperry (Sperry, OK).
