Georgia High School Softball - Monroe Area bounces Johns Creek

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) and the visiting Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA), observed Monroe Area's softball team notch a victory over Johns Creek by a final score of 15-2.

The Purple Hurricanes (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Houston County Lee County (Leesburg, GA), 5-5, in a league game.

The Gladiators now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Flowery Branch for a non-league game on Monday, August 25. Johns Creek will face a Falcons squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-4.
