In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hillsboro Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Abbott Panthers.
The Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Benbrook (Benbrook, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Benbrook beat Venus (Venus, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Abbott will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rice (Rice, TX).
