In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Whitley County Colonels volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots.

The Colonels (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, North Laurel lost by Madison Southern (Berea, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots play the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Allen County-Scottsville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Knott County Central (Hindman, KY).
