The Almont Raiders topped the visiting Bishop Foley Ventures volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Almont will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI).

The Ventures (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Lakewood was topped by Holland Christian (Holland, MI), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
