The Almont Raiders volleyball squad (Almont, MI), was edged 1-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI)

The Chargers (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Mt. Morris got by Alpena (Alpena, MI), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

The Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cass City for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. Almont will encounter a Red Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 2-3.
