Texas High School Volleyball - Ponder over Alvord

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Ponder Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Alvord Bulldogs.

The Lions (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Godley (Godley, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Godley gained a win over Alvord (Alvord, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lindsay for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Alvord will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West (West, TX). The Knights record now stands at 10-4.
