Texas High School Volleyball - McAllen can't get by Anderson

Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Calallen edged Miller (Corpus Christi, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. McAllen will attempt to advance on its 14-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 10-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tournament Opponent (, ).
