August 23, 2025: Summerville, SC 29485 Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ashley advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Screaming Eagle travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to play the Pirates in a Carolina Coast 6A/7A challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Topsail won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC)
Next, the Swamp Foxes play the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Ashley Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Walhalla (Walhalla, SC).
