Ohio High School Volleyball - Ayersville tips Evergreen

August 23, 2025: Metamora, OH 43540

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ayersville Pilots (Defiance, OH) and the host Evergreen Vikings (Metamora, OH), observed Ayersville's volleyball team hold off Evergreen by a tally of 3-2.

The Pilots (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Delta (Delta, OH). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Delta was tipped by Swanton (Swanton, OH), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH) in a Northwest Ohio contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Evergreen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Golden Bears enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Paulding (Paulding, OH).
