In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Montabella Mustangs volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Baldwin Panthers.

With the win, Montabella improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to face the Irish in a Mid-State test on Wednesday, August 27. The Irish go into the test with a record of 3-1.

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farwell for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Baldwin will meet a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
