The Barbourville Tigers prevailed the host Buckhorn Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) in a District 51 game, on Saturday, August 23. Barbourville will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Harlan (Harlan, KY).
The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Jellico (Jellico, TN). The Blue Devils enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Jellico gained a win over Greenback (Greenback, TN), 3-1, in a league game.
