Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) and the visiting Batesburg-Leesville Panthers (Batesburg, SC), observed Orangeburg-Wilkinson's volleyball team top Batesburg-Leesville by a count of 2-0.

The Bruins (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge View (Columbia, SC). The Blazers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Panthers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Legion Collegiate Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Batesburg-Leesville will face a Lancers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Lancers record now stands at 0-3.
