In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Hulbert Riders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Berryhill Chiefs.
The Riders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sperry (Sperry, OK). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record.
Next, the Chiefs meet the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs (Bartlesville, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Berryhill will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oologah (Oologah, OK).
