In Saturday's non-league game, the host Brethren Bobcats volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs.
Next up, the Bobcats face the Mason County Central Spartans (Scottville, MI) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, August 27. Brethren will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.
The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Mancelona gained a win over TCBAA (Traverse City, MI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
