The Jasper Vikings volleyball squad (Jasper, AL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN)

With the win, Briarcrest Christian improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Saints travel to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Fairhope lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL)

The Vikings now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thompson for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Jasper will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
