The Gwinn Modeltowners nudged the visiting Brimley Bays volleyball team by a tally of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Modeltowners now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Superior Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 26.
With the loss, Brimley drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bays host Pickford (Pickford, MI) to play the Panthers in a Eastern Upper Peninsula game on Tuesday, September 9. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-1.
