In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Caldwell County Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hopkinsville Tigers.

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Crittenden County achieved victory over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY), 3-1, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owensboro Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Hopkinsville will face a Aces squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Aces record now stands at 0-1.
