In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Canyon Cougars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Reagan Rattlers.

The Cougars (13-6) will now prepare for their game against Round Rock (Round Rock, TX). The Dragons go into the non-league game with a 14-3 record. In their last game, Round Rock nudged Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.

The Rattlers (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Long Creek (New Braunfels, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Long Creek was nudged by Glenn (Leander, TX), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
