In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Canyon Cowboys volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Villanova Prep Wildcats.

The Cowboys (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Ynez (Santa Ynez, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Santa Ynez beat Templeton (Templeton, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Channel Islands for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26.
