Texas High School Volleyball - Carlisle Cumberland Academy

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cumberland Academy Knights (Tyler, TX) and the host Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), observed Cumberland Academy's volleyball team top Carlisle by a tally of 2-0.

The Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Union Grove was defeated by Overton (Overton, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Indians now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hawkins for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Carlisle will meet a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
