The Bulldogs (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Overton (Overton, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Overton notched a victory over Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the Bishop Gorman Crusaders (Tyler, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 23. Leverett's Chapel will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX).
