In Saturday's non-league contest, the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) volleyball squad toppled the host Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX), by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Odessa improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Bronchos travel to Wortham (Wortham, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 2-6.
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duncanville for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Cleburne will face a Panthers and Pantherettes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes record now stands at 16-1.
